The trip so far, Day 35, Friday, October 26, Grand Canyon, 6900 miles, 2200 to go

What a brilliant decision to visit the Grand Canyon. Grand indeed it is.

Day 32, pm, Tuesday, October 22; The trip so far, 6235 miles, Ely Nevada

Make that cold Ely, Nevada. It was here on the last trip where The Defender had to be towed to after it would not start 110 miles from here. The same mechanic who get it running again will service it today. Hopefully, i will have better luck today.

Day 23, the trip so far, 4720 miles, The Pacific in Oregon

And here all along i thought the country was only 3000 miles wide. We officially start the trip home today, as we head south.

Day 21, Friday, October 12, Trip so far, 4400 miles, eastern Oregon

Day 12,Tuesday, October 2,about 2400 miles so far, Hardin, Montana

We (I mean, I)just took in the Little Big Horn Battlefield, the site of Custer's Last Stand, and are camped in a pleasant camp just down and off the highway. Tomorrow, our destination - Yellowstone!
